Hey friends! Thank you for visiting my page! So you want to know more about me? Well, I started my career in the industry by doing some tv work, commercials and shows for MTV mainly. Shortly after, I decided to get into modeling, and as they say, the rest is history! Now, I am a host, model and actress extraordinaire! I'm a very persistent person when it comes to getting what I want. For those of you who are wondering, I am 100% Vietnamese! YES! I do have ONE dimple...haha but I love it and so does everyone else! It gives me character! I'm a big goofball and extremely clumsy, those who know me well, know that I ALWAYS have bruises all over my body because I tend to walk into things! I love to laugh...its' my favorite! I'm very goofy, fun, outgoing, loyal, and honest... I'm always down for a good time, and will make the best of everything. You will rarely find me in a bad mood. Sometimes I find myself laughing at my own jokes, thinking that I am the funniest person alive, even though some people may not understand what I'm talking about...haha I'm not your typical cookie cutter kind of girl and can be very complicated at times. I like to keep people guessing and only divulge information when I want, I never volunteer it. I am very private and have been told that I can be a mysterious person. I'm a driven person and set high goals that may seem unattainable, but that’s because it will always keep me striving for more. I expect only the best and will accept only the best! I try to see the good in everyone, but unfortunately, good does not always exist in all people. I know exactly what I want in life and will not let anyone stop me from fulfilling my dreams. I'm very optimistic, but realize that there are a lot of pessimistic people in this world, who would like to see me fail. Unfortunately for them, that will NOT happen, so they shouldn't hold their breath. I like to make sure that the people I surround myself with are real and down to Earth, and I always get to know someone before I can let them in. I love to smile and I love to be around people who can make me laugh hysterically. I cherish my friendships and know that good friends are hard to come by, so I am very, very blessed to have the friends I do, and I love my friends’ mucho! I am also grateful for my loved ones and don't know where or who I would be without them. When I love, I love with all of my heart. I’ve been known to make people feel so comfortable, that they open up to me quickly and trust me. MY trust must be earned, not given…and once the trust has been broken, there’s no way it could ever be returned. If you are a part of my life, that means you are truly someone very special to me, and I love you in some way. I must admit that I am a bit impatient and I hate when people interrupt me when I'm talking. I love instant gratification, so when I have to wait for something, I am not a happy camper. I'm a big procrastinator and am usually late to almost everything. I hate preconceived notions because chances are most of the time, they're wrong and I hate broken promises, so if you tell me you're going to do something, please follow through!
So Ms Tianna Ta, how has modeling been treating you?
It’s been fabulous!!! I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for everything that has happened in the past year!
How did you get started into modeling?
A few years ago, I got my first taste as being a hair model. Once I did that, I began to get more interested in learning more about the industry, BUT I was going to school full time and working full time, so it didn’t give me much time to do anything else. Last year, I auditioned for work for NYC and got booked to do shows and commercials for them. That was when I knew that this is what I wanted to do, so I pursued modeling full time in October 2006.
What is it like modeling in a group with PM vs being an independent model?
Prestigious Models has been sooooo amazingly gracious to me and I am so grateful! I love being able to work with such a great group of ladies and for such an awesome company! I have been with PM since May 2007 and they have given so many opportunities that I could have never imaged, and opportunities that I could have not done on my own.
What is your biggest accomplishment to date?
So far, EVERYTHING! Since I started this in October, I signed contracts with Prestigious Models, Hot Import Nights, and Boost Mobile, as well as a national cover on D Sport Magazine and Airsplat Campaign. I’ve also had interviews and features on IGN, Maxim Radio, to name a few.
What have you learned about modeling so far?
It’s a crazy, yet exciting industry. It’s very competitive but you also meet a lot of genuine, good hearted people. You hear so many bad things about this industry but you just have to have common sense. I’ve actually been presently surprised with everything.
What are your plans for the next five years?
I would like to continue modeling, and branch out into different types of modeling. I also want to start hosting and acting…so if your company is looking for a host or actress, look no further ;)
Which city throughout the world has been your favorite place to travel to?
I have been so lucky to travel to so many beautiful places…but I think Costa Rica and Barcelona have to be my favorite so far!
What do you like most about modeling?
I like being able to network and meet people that I would’ve never been able to without modeling. I also love to travel!
Why do you like modeling?
Its opened so many doors and brought so many great opportunities. This has always been something I wanted to do, and I never want to reflect back on life and have any regrets on what I should’ve, could’ve or would’ve done, so I figured that this is the perfect time. I also love meeting new people, traveling to exotic places, and being able to dress up and feel sexy ;)
What are your best features?
A lot of people think that I’m really funny and have a down to Earth personality. I have to agree ;) (laughs)

I’m really sarcastic, I’m goofy and I’m down to Earth
What do you look for in a guy?
I love MEN who are funny and can make me laugh hysterically! I like guys who are also intelligent, down to Earth, and guys who are gentlemen. By that, I mean, I like men who open doors, pull out chairs…I guess I’m still a little old fashioned.
Any advice you can give to upcoming models?
Yes! Don’t take anything personal…business is business, so if one door closes, another will open. So if a company rejects you, it doesn’t mean that you’re not beautiful. You’re just not what they are looking for at the time. The best advice I can give is to stay optimistic. Everything happens for a reason!
