It has been a 7 month journey and I finally received good news from my Real Estate agent today. There is no such thing as a spacious space with affordable rent that is in existence in New York city. At first, I thought the standard to be here was just ridiculously insane! Not only that the price is very expensive, the criteria is absurd. You must have good credit, a minimum amount in your bank account and you have to make 40 times your monthly rent.

There is some truth to the saying that New York is a cut throat city and the people here can be very rude. There were many times, I was discouraged because I was eaten up alive by these big sharks. Every time I get chewed up and spit back out, I realized this is a daily routine of experiencing life in the city of steel.

Through good or bad times, I promise to LIVE in New York City, and I shall not let New York LIVE me. I acknowledge through some of these set back, setting standards is very important. I am fortunate to be surrounded by ambitious and talented people. It's true when people say "who you are, are the company you keep".

The point of this blog, is to let you all know, do not let anyone discourage you! Believe in yourself, stay focus on your objectives and everything is non-negotiable when it comes to your dreams. If I have to do it all over again, I will do it in a heartbeat. Get ready for a new beginning of Prestigious Models in New York city!

I have been reading this amazing book called "Organize your life" from Ronni Eisenberg with Kate Kelly. This is probably the best gift I have received for Christmas last year! Bob, Thank you for changing my life. lol I been having this problem of balancing out my business and personal time. I LOVE what I do and I can probably work 24/7 with no complaints. But I realize I am being unfair to my love ones. =(

This book tells me to first go out and buy a Daily Calendar and write everything down! Yes, I know it sounds really simple, but I have never own one before. lol Sometime I think I am Superwomen by remembering everything in my mind. Trying to recall what you should do, waste even more time, than if we are actually doing it.

This book has change my life and I wanted to share it with you all. See, it really works because I even have time now to blog. lol Come back for more as I will be blogging everyday from now on. And TRUST ME, I will have all the girls to be involved with me too! hahah

It is that time of the year again...the time to give THANKS to people we love. I have lots of LOVE to give this week! So ask me for anything, your wish is my command! hehe =)

It has been six months since my last return home. I am really excited to be back in New Orleans with family and close friends. I went out last night to Masquerade and had such an awesome time!!! The best parties and most memorable times in my life have taken place here in New Orleans. Although I did not recognize nor did I know anyone there, I felt right at home and knew there is no place in comparison to my hometown. I finally bumped into a few old friends and our very first group of Prestigious Models, Liz, Vikki and Lori Vo! It was so good to see these girls again! They all settled down and have kids now but are still as gorgeous as the first time I met them. Asian women age very well! hehe

I noticed many new faces but did not know what to expect from the night. After a few drinks, I was walking around graciously passing out VIP cards welcoming everyone to our upcoming Thanksgiving Eve Party! Whew! I knew I had way too many shots. But it was ok, it was great seeing everyone again. I was astonished by how many people noticed and followed my work. Some were so appreciative that I gave them a VIP card and how I had made their night! It was soo sweet and touching knowing that they think so highly of my work! It is an honor to hear that from people I did not even know. I realize in life, being grateful and appreciative are among the best characteristics to have and having that attitude is the greatest gift of all! Sometimes, we tend to work so hard and forget to appreciate the little things. I encourage everyone to take time out and think about all the great things in your life and give thanks...you will understand what I am talking about. It is a natural high that you will always want to chase!

I will continue to strive for success and to work twice as hard next year in 09!! I am in the process of finally opening a physical PM office in New York!!! My goal is to find a great location before this year ends! Please wish me luck and get ready to experience this new journey with me!!! I love you all and Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
